Dood is a Canadian company with an innovative approach to live streaming. The ambitios challenge was to create a brand from scratch, design and develop IT platform that would be among the world’s first live streaming tools allowing its users to livestream to multiple targets across various social media platforms simultaneously through a singular user-facing mobile application. A14 was working on this project as a full-service agency.

Our team started with a complex research on user journey to define a new brand and emotion that will be the foundation of a comprehensive brand system. We designed a new logo, brand identities, and created a style guide and brand book. Then, an IOS application was delivered. Our team designed Dood’s look and feel, completed all front-end and back-end development, and wrote custom APIs for the platform. To augment the application itself, A14 also created a huge web application for Dood’s management staff. The robust application serves analytics purposes and streamlines Dood’s internal processes through business automation, usage reporting, and a lot of other actions and functionalities.

Results

Dood was launched and opened its doors for the first users being an innovative, brand-oriented, comprehensive, and stable application. After gathering the positive feedback from the first creators and adopters on the platform, A14 agency also collaborated with Dood team on the marketing side. We showcased application at the world's leading IT & startup trade shows Web Summit in Lisbon and Collision in Toronto. Dood project was chosen to be presented at the global stage in front of thousand of tech professionals, investors, and A-class journalists.

It was a true pleasure for A14 team to work on such an ambitious project as a full-service agency. From briefing and designing a brand to delivering an innvotative application and presenting it on a global stage - we put heart and soul into this project. After a few years of operation, Dood was mainly used by gamers and therefore, their team decided to make a bold decision and oriented their platform for game industry only. Today, Dood is AIO Hub, AI-driven platfrom for gamers with deep insights and analytics.
